Squad

The Squad is the second tier within Eastbourne Swimming Club’s competitive pathway.

Entry into this group is by assessment and approval of the club’s coaching team. Swimmers must be active competitors with recorded times on the Swim England Rankings and are expected to have achieved Sussex County qualification times.

Swimmers may be moved into the Squad without County times at the discretion of the coaching team. However, if these standards have not been achieved by the age of 15 ( as at 16 when swimmers move into the open age group where qualifying times become significantly faster), their pathway and progression will be reassessed. 

Tuesday training times: 6-7 swim, Land training 7-8 EBC, no Wednesday session on

Swimmers in Squad are working towards achieving Sussex County and Regional qualification standards.
