The General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR come into effect as of 25th May 2018 and it is a positive step towards you having more control over how your data is used. These changes will also help better protect your personal data.

Eastbourne Swimming Club will only be using the personal data that you supplied when joining the Club for the purpose of processing your Membership with the Club and the ASA / Swim England, the Club's governing body. Personal data will also be used when you choose to take part in any Club activities. All personal data will be administered in accordance with the Club's updated Privacy Policy in line with the legislation.

From time to time the Club will use your contact information for the purpose of notifying you of Club activities throughout the year and news regarding any changes to information previously supplied to you.

The Club will not be sharing your personal data with any 3rd parties for marketing purposes.

If you still wish to continue to receive communications from the Club then you need not do anything as you will have deemed to have "opted-in".

If you do not wish to receive any further communications from the Club then please respond to this email and advise us that you wish to "opt-out" of receiving communications. However, if you choose this option you will not be notified of any updated information that the Club circulates so please carefully consider the implications if you choose this option.
